Hello, I am

Lucas Rieneck Gottfried Pedersen

Working on world models, agentic systems, and physics-inspired machine learning. Finishing my BSc at DTU, previously founding engineer at Manifold AI.

I am a final-semester BSc Artificial Intelligence and Data student at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Lyngby. Until recently I was founding engineer & R&D Lead at Manifold AI, where I designed and built Prometheus, an agentic data-analysis system shipped to Royal Unibrew, Matas, Kvik and other Danish companies.

In 2025 I won the Danish National AI Championship (DM i AI).

My work centers on applied ML/AI: agentic systems, reinforcement learning, and applications in health, medicine, and lab automation/robotics. I like problems where models have to meet the real world: noisy data, physical constraints, and systems that act rather than just predict.

Just attended the Incommodities Case Crunch 2026, where I experimented with the foundation time-series model Chronos-2 on a simulated market for forecasting electricity prices. This led to impressive performance overall, but a catastrophic failure one round, see the LinkedIn post for more!

I'm going to Japan on exchange and stepping down as R&D Lead at Manifold, exciting things ahead!

  • Aug 8 2025

I just won DMiAI 2025 with Benjamin Banks, Oscar Svendsen, Elias Lunøe, Jonathan Tybirk and Viktor Larsen! A lot of fun, will be attending next year.
